Workflow Templates

Chart layout templates.

Three ready-to-use Tradovate layouts — from learning to read every candle, to executing a full order flow workflow with maximum confluence. Pick the one that matches your current stage.

The T2K0 execution logic

Every trade has three phases. Use the right indicator at the right phase — not everything at once.

Phase 1 — Context Where is price? Flow Volume Profile
Flow Delta Axis
Flow VWAP
Flow Imbalance zones
Phase 2 — Trigger When to act? Flow ORB (breakout level)
Flow Imbalance (zone test)
Flow Footprint (delta trigger)
Phase 3 — Confirm Is it real? Flow Big Orders (bubble)
Flow CVD (trend confirms)
Flow Delta Grid (Δ%)
Flow Effort (absorption?)

Peak confluence — the full-stack read

When Phase 1 (context level hit), Phase 2 (trigger fires), and Phase 3 (confirmation aligns) happen simultaneously — that's the maximum confluence entry. This is what the chart setups below are designed to make visible in real time.

Beginner

Template 1 — Execution Core

Start here. One chart, a clear view of every candle's delta, and volume context. Everything you need to learn order flow reading without chart overload.

Main Chart — 1 min Footprint Flow Footprint (bid/ask, delta triggers, VPOC)
Flow Big Orders (delta bubbles — confirmation layer)
Flow VWAP (RTH anchor — context reference)
Panel 1 — Flow CVD Cumulative session delta. Rising = bullish confirmation. Divergence = warning.
Panel 2 — Flow Delta Grid Σ V · Δ V · Δ% per candle. Quality filter before every entry.

What you learn

  • How to read bid/ask aggression at each level
  • When CVD confirms vs contradicts a candle
  • Which bars have conviction (Δ%) before entering
  • How Big Orders bubbles appear on real moves

Indicators needed

  • Flow Footprint Lifetime
  • Flow Big Orders Membership
  • Flow CVD Membership
  • Flow Delta Grid Membership
  • Flow VWAP Membership

Template 2 — Full Workflow

The complete execution setup. Two charts side by side — a broader context view on the left and a precision execution chart on the right. This is the T2K0 system running at full capacity.

Chart Left — 5 min Context Flow Volume Profile (session VA/POC)
Flow Delta Axis (session delta profile)
Flow VWAP (RTH anchor + SD bands)
Flow Imbalance (active zones)
Flow ORB (ORH/ORL + projected TPs)
Chart Right — 1 min Execution Flow Footprint (bid/ask · delta · VPOC)
Flow Big Orders (bubble confirmation)
Flow Imbalance (zones carried from 5min context)
Panel (shared) — Flow CVD + Flow Delta Grid CVD on left chart · Delta Grid on right chart. Keep both visible — trend + bar quality simultaneously.
Optional — Flow Effort Add to the 1 min execution chart. Flags absorption bars before they resolve — early exit or reversal warning.

Workflow in practice

  • 5 min: Identify the day's context (VA, VWAP side, active zones)
  • 5 min: See where ORB sets up and mark TP levels
  • 1 min: Wait for trigger at a context level (zone, VAH, ORH)
  • 1 min: Confirm with bubble + CVD + Δ% before entering
  • Effort: Watch for absorption near your TP target — early exit signal

All 10 indicators active

  • Flow Footprint + Imbalance + Volume Profile
  • Flow VWAP + Delta Axis + ORB
  • Flow Big Orders + CVD + Delta Grid + Effort

Template 3 — Sniper

Minimal visual noise, maximum signal density. For experienced traders who've internalized the context layer and only need execution precision on screen. One chart, three indicators, zero distraction.

Main Chart — 1 min Footprint (ultra-clean) Flow Footprint (compact mode · delta triggers ON · VPOC only)
Flow Big Orders (bubbles only — no labels)
Flow Delta Axis (right-anchored — session context at a glance)
Panel — Flow CVD only Single panel. No Delta Grid. Trust your Footprint read. CVD confirms or cancels.

Prerequisites for this setup

You must be able to read the Footprint and CVD in real time without hesitation. Context (VP structure, session bias, key levels) should be pre-marked before the session — not read live. This setup rewards preparation, not discovery.

Why it works

  • Reduced visual load = faster decision at the moment of truth
  • Delta Axis gives session bias in 1 second (teal or magenta dominant)
  • Big Orders bubble at a pre-marked level = instant entry signal
  • CVD direction is the only confirmation needed for an experienced reader

Pre-session prep (required)

  • Mark prior session VAH/VAL/POC on the chart
  • Note VWAP expected zone (reference prior close vs estimated open)
  • Identify active Imbalance zones from prior session (external chart)
  • Set alert on ORH/ORL if using ORB setups

How to set up in Tradovate

  • Install indicators — Add each indicator via the Tradovate indicator library after receiving your Whop access code.
  • Create a workspace — In Tradovate, use Workspaces to save your multi-chart layout. Save after each setup session so you don't rebuild from scratch each day.
  • Link charts — If using Template 2 (two charts, same instrument), link them to the same symbol so price updates sync between the 5 min and 1 min views.
  • Panel sizing — CVD and Delta Grid panels should be roughly 20% of your total chart height. Enough to read at a glance, not enough to dominate the screen.
  • Compact Footprint mode — In Template 3, enable compact mode on Flow Footprint. This reduces visual density at the cost of raw numbers — ideal when you can read the colors intuitively.
