Does it repaint?
No. Every signal — delta trigger highlights, VPOC, VAH/VAL, absorption flags — is computed from fully completed bar data. Once a bar closes, its footprint is locked permanently. Nothing changes on historical bars.
FAQ
Questions about Flow Footprint, delivery, technical requirements, pricing, and what's coming.
The Footprint
No. Every signal — delta trigger highlights, VPOC, VAH/VAL, absorption flags — is computed from fully completed bar data. Once a bar closes, its footprint is locked permanently. Nothing changes on historical bars.
At the data level, yes. T2K0 Flow Footprint shows bid/ask volume at every price level per candle, with VPOC and Value Area framing — exactly what Sierra Chart users pay for via a separate monthly subscription and bridge setup.
The difference: T2K0 runs natively inside Tradovate. No second platform, no bridge, no latency gap. $97 once instead of an ongoing monthly fee.
Each price level inside a candle has a net delta (ask volume minus bid volume). When a level's delta exceeds your configured threshold, the cell is highlighted — marking where aggressive flow was absorbed or where a side dominated decisively.
You set the threshold. Lower = more highlights. Higher = only the cleanest, most significant prints. Gold highlights indicate the trigger hit. Non-trigger levels still show proportional opacity based on their ratio to the threshold.
A zero print occurs when one side (bid or ask) shows zero volume at a price level, meaning orders passed through that level with no resistance on one side. When multiple consecutive levels show the same zero-print pattern, that's a stacked zero print — an institutional vacuum zone that often acts as strong support or resistance on retest.
Yes. Any Tradovate instrument with volume profile data. Tick size is auto-detected per instrument so the footprint always renders at the correct granularity.
Yes, provided tick volume data is available for the replayed session. Most liquid futures sessions replayed via Tradovate include the necessary data.
1-minute to 15-minute charts are the most common use cases. Tick charts and volume bar charts are also supported if Tradovate exposes volume profile data for them. Higher timeframes are supported but produce wider cells — most traders prefer sub-15min for execution reads.
Technical Requirements
T2K0 Flow Footprint requires volume profile data, which is available on Tradovate's Trader+ plan or higher. The free or basic simulation plan does not include tick-level volume data and will not render footprint levels.
If you are on an active paid Tradovate plan and your charts show volume profile data, the indicator will work.
No. T2K0 Flow Footprint is a standard Tradovate indicator delivered via Tradovate's native entitlement system. After clicking your Whop delivery link, the indicator appears in your Tradovate indicator list immediately. No download, no .dll, no bridge.
Yes. Tradovate's indicator system is identical across web and desktop. Shared indicators (entitlement-based delivery) work on both.
Your Tradovate entitlement is linked to your Tradovate account. You can use it on as many charts as you want within that account. It is not a per-device license.
Delivery & Pricing
$97 one-time payment. No subscription. No renewal. No hidden fees. You pay once and own T2K0 Flow Footprint permanently, including all future updates.
Immediately after payment, Whop sends an automated message to your email and Whop inbox. The message contains your Tradovate entitlement link. Click it, accept the share inside Tradovate, and the indicator is in your list. Total installation time is typically under 2 minutes.
Whop's standard 72-hour buyer protection applies. If the indicator does not install or does not function as described, submit a refund request within 72 hours of purchase through your Whop buyer portal.
Because installation requires a Tradovate paid plan with volume profile data (Trader+ or above), please verify your plan includes this data before purchasing.
Updates are announced via Whop broadcast emails with a changelog and a new entitlement link. Install the updated version by clicking the new link in Tradovate, then remove the previous version from your chart templates if needed. Updates are included in the $97 purchase — no additional cost.
